Information we collect

Pacific Breeze Landscape, Inc., operating as Pacific Breeze Building Solutions (“we,” “us,” or “our”), operates pbbuildingsolutions.com. This policy explains how we handle information collected through this website.

  • Project inquiries: your name, email address, phone number, property address, project details, service interests, and any communication preferences you provide.
  • Article comments: your name, email address, comment, and optional website address. Your name, comment, and posting date are public. Your email and submitted website address are retained for staff use and are not displayed with the comment.
  • Staff accounts: account and authentication information used to provide access to the private staff portal. There is no public customer registration.
  • Technical information: website hosting and analytics providers may process IP addresses, browser and device information, referring pages, page visits, timestamps, cookies, and security logs.
  • Blog subscriptions: your email address, optional name, explicit subscription choice, consent wording, source page and subscription or unsubscribe timestamps. Blog consent does not grant permission for unrelated marketing emails.

The public forms do not request payment card information, Social Security numbers, or dates of birth. Please do not include sensitive personal information in inquiries or public comments.

How we use information

We use information to respond to requests, discuss and estimate projects, manage customer communications, publish and moderate comments, secure staff access, prevent abuse, operate the website, and understand how visitors use it. We may also retain information to meet legal obligations or resolve disputes.

Submitting a quote request does not subscribe you to unrelated marketing. If you consent to optional marketing or text messages, you may withdraw that consent by contacting us or following the instructions in the message. Withdrawing consent does not prevent necessary responses to an inquiry you initiated.

Blog email subscriptions require a separate, unchecked consent box. You can withdraw blog consent at Blog Email Preferences or through an unsubscribe link in an email. We retain consent and withdrawal records so staff can respect your preferences. Blog opt-ins are currently collected without sending articles. The unsubscribe link in an inbox notification email lets the recipient choose Inbox Notifications, Marketing Emails, Blog Emails, or any combination.

Service providers and disclosures

We use service providers for website hosting, database storage, authentication, security, and analytics. These include Base44 and Google Analytics. Google Maps is loaded on office location pages only after you accept embedded Maps; Google may receive technical information when a map loads or you interact with it. Providers process information under their own terms and privacy notices as applicable.

We may disclose information to staff and professional advisers who need it, when legally required, to protect safety or legal rights, or in connection with a business transfer subject to applicable privacy obligations. We do not sell the personal information you submit in quote or comment forms.

Links to external websites and social media services are governed by those services’ privacy policies. See Google’s Privacy Policy.

Cookies, analytics, and tracking choices

Google Analytics measures visits and navigation only after you accept Analytics cookies. Google Analytics and embedded Maps stay off before you make a choice. You may Accept Cookies, Reject Optional, or manage Analytics and Maps separately in Cookie Policy / Choices. Withdrawing Analytics consent stops further website analytics events and removes accessible Analytics cookies; it does not delete information already collected by Google. The website does not send inquiry form contents or comment email addresses as analytics event fields. Authentication and hosting services may use cookies or browser storage to keep the website and staff sign-in working.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser, although this may affect sign-in and some embedded features. Google provides an Analytics opt-out browser add-on.

Do Not Track: this website does not currently change its behavior in response to browser Do Not Track signals. Third-party services may collect information about your activity when their tools load. Browser privacy controls and provider opt-out tools can help limit that collection.

Global Privacy Control and on-site opt-out: visit Privacy Choices to disable optional tracking. A supported browser’s GPC signal is honored automatically before Google Analytics loads. The preference is saved in first-party browser storage and remains in effect on later visits, even when the signal is absent. Clearing browser storage or using another browser can remove the saved preference. Essential hosting, security and form processing remain active. Accepting cookies never overrides an active GPC signal or a saved sale / sharing opt-out. Cookie preferences and email subscription preferences are separate.

Public comments

Comments appear on the associated article after successful submission and may be read, copied, or indexed by others. Staff can remove comments individually or in bulk. Do not post another person’s private information. To request removal of a comment you posted, contact us with the article URL and details that help us identify it.

Deleting a comment from this website does not remove copies previously made by other visitors or search engines.

Retention and security

We retain inquiry and account information for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described here, including project records, security, and applicable legal obligations. Comments remain until removed by staff or in response to an applicable request. Hosting backups and logs may remain for a limited period under provider retention practices.

We use HTTPS and restrict staff tools and private records to authorized staff. No internet transmission or storage system can be guaranteed completely secure.

California Privacy Rights

California residents may have rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, where those laws apply to the business and information involved.

  • Know and access the personal information collected about you, its sources, purposes and disclosures.
  • Request deletion of personal information, subject to legal exceptions.
  • Correct inaccurate personal information.
  • Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
  • Limit uses or disclosures of sensitive personal information where the applicable law provides that right.
  • Receive equal treatment when exercising applicable privacy rights.

Use Privacy Choices to opt out without creating an account. We honor Global Privacy Control automatically for the browser sending it. The website disables optional analytics and embedded maps for that browser; email subscription choices are separate.

For access, correction, deletion or other privacy requests, email sales@pacificbreezelandscape.com. Describe your request and provide enough information to locate your records. An authorized agent may contact us on your behalf; we may require proof of authorization and verify identity before disclosing or deleting information. We may retain records where required or permitted by law, and respond within the periods required by applicable law.

Children’s privacy

This website is intended for adults seeking construction and design services and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal information, contact us so we can review and remove it as appropriate.

Policy changes

We may update this policy as the website or our practices change. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required by law. This policy describes website practices; separate project agreements may address information used to deliver contracted services.
